Catherine F. McCarron
Catherine McCarron is a Partner in the Business, Tax and Estate Planning, and Real Estate Law Groups at Jager McCarron LLP. Catherine began her career at Jager Smith P.C. in 1981 as a legal secretary. She attended Suffolk University Law School and combined full-time employment at Jager Smith with day and evening classes as a full-time law student. Upon graduation in 1986 she joined Jager Smith as an associate. In 2017, she formed Jager McCarron LLP with partner Edward Jager to continue her practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Guardianship and Conservatorship law, Real Estate, and Elder Law.
In addition, Catherine counsels clients with regard to the purchase, sale and leasing of commercial and residential real estate, including borrower and lender representation for secured real estate and asset-based financing transactions. She is also a licensed real estate broker in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and a Realtor®.
Catherine taught Estate Planning as an adjunct professor at Suffolk University Law School from 2013 to 2017.
She is proud to assist veterans at the Soldiers’ Home in Chelsea, Massachusetts, as a guardian and conservator. She offers these fiduciary services on a pro bono basis to soldiers in need, in recognition of the contributions and sacrifices made by all veterans of our armed forces.
